You can participate in the compos without attending. Send your work to us via email or upload it to an FTP and send us the URL. However, we WON'T mail you the prize! If you feel like you have the chance to win, make sure there's someone who can receive the prize for you.
One competitor can only enter two works to a compo.
We require every production to have a FILE_ID.DIZ, which shall contain the production's title, the author's name, and the fact that it was released at the Function2004 party.
We won't screen the author's name, only the production's.
Voting will be done with the traditional method, we'll hand out votesheets with the entry ticket and we'll recollect them after the compos.
Every compo will have a prejury, where you have to reach a certain minimum level of quality to be shown. Don't be afraid, we were all beginners once, we know noone was born with a mouse in their hands. This more applies to the "5-minutes-of-work-in-Paint" type of crap.
Pornographic, vulgar and generally offending material will be excluded.
The organizers aren't responsible for your property or your health. (Theft isn't really common, especially with this small amount of people, but better safe than sorry...)
Tagging, or putting stickers on walls in or outside is forbidden!
Smoking in the building is strictly forbidden, and you are not allowed to bring any glassbottles in!
